Annapurna Base Camp Trek, one of the most popular trekking routes in the world, begins from Nayapul which is near Pokhara, the Lake City of Nepal. This adventure premise of the Annapurna conservation area begins after trekkers explore the ancient heritages of Kathmandu and drive to Nayapul via Pokhara. You begin along the Modi River and steadily head to the village of Birethanti, the checkpoint before entering into the Annapurna conservation area. Now we shall take on the trail along the Bhurungdi River and walk through dense and lush rhododendron forest, impressive terraced farmlands, and long stone staircase as we trek through the settlements of Lamdawali, Hile, Tikhedhunga, Ulleri as we head further in the Annapurna Base Camp Trek. After the major, Magar settlement of Ulleri, we now trek past the view of Annapurna South and Hiuchuli Peak before traversing through Banthati and Nangethati, and reach to the village of Ghorepani. After watching breathtaking sunrise from Poonhill, we navigate through the ups and downs and dense forest, villages of Deurali and Tadapani to reach Chhomrong, a large Gurung settlement and the gateway to the Annapurna Base Camp. The trek continues in a conservative manner along Modi River and through small settlements, waterfalls and cave, alpine vegetation, forest with bamboo, orchid and fern, past avalanche chutes and rocky terrains to reach the base of Fishtail Mountain. Further ahead, trekkers climb past glacial moraines and huge rocks looked over by the soaring peaks to reach the ultimate destination of Annapurna Base Camp Trek, to the Annapurna Base Camp. We retrace our steps back through the natural hot springs at Jhinu Danda to reach Pokhara and to Kathmandu.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek is moderately strenuous and requires trekkers to have an above average fitness level and positive attitude. With an average of 6-7 hours of walk on hilly terrain, trekkers will face high altitudes and thin air on some days during this trek. The best season for this trek is February to Mid-June and September to December. Join us for this trek and get the best out of your pursuit of adventure in the Himalayas full of diversity.
