Khopra trek has been the recently opened trail in the Annapurna region. It is getting popular year after year. For those adventure loving people around the globe who prefer Homestay trek and feel comfortable blend in with the local community, culture, food and also prefer less crowded remote routes, Nepal Pioneers trek as a trekking partner is the perfect chance to take away the nuisance of the hectic city life for a bit and enjoy the natural beauty of the mountain peaks.

Khopra Danda (3660m), recognized as one of the best viewing spots in the region along with the sacred Khayar lake are the major attractions of the trek. Khopra trek is around 15 days trek. It follows the Ghorepani Poon hill trek providing the trekkers with the majestic views of mountain peaks of Annapurna I, II and III, Nilgiri peak, Dhaulagiri and many more in the Annapurna region. Also the scenery of red rhododendron forests with its overwhelming nature can be enjoyed. Most part of Khopra trek is tea house trek. Nepal pioneers trek has organized it perfectly as per the demand of the trekkers. After all the hard work in reaching Khopra Danda, all those memory of strenuous days is replaced by the scenic beauty of majestic mountains.

Going uphill, we reach the sacred Khayar lake. It is famous among the pilgrims in Nepal. Walkers stay in village communities – sometimes in people’s homes. So there’s time for real interaction with Nepalis. We will eat with the families. You will get to know local culture, tradition and hospitality. We will  visit a village weaving workshop and  a cheese making project. The high point of our trek is a visit to sacred Khayer Lake (4500m). It is surrounded with shrines, and with the peak of Annapurna towering above. This trek is recommended for those who prefer home stay. Remember Nepal Pioneer Treks & Expedition to get lifetime experience from this trek. This trek is highly recommended.
